We’ve spent a long time talking about the favorites to win the 2012 Kentucky Derby and it’s all starting to turn into drivel. Union Rags and Bodemeister are clearly the frontrunners to capture the crown on Saturday, and the actual odds will only depend on the positions drawn on Wednesday.
But what about the dark horses? Trinniberg’s training team feels “100 percent” that their colt will win the race because of his world-class speed that could force other horses to chase and exhaust early on.
